Dungeon Of Loot 1.1 Update


I'm happy to announce release of the new 1.1 version. Thanks everybody for their support, and don't forget, the feedback i get right now can change this game forever, feel free to comment your crazy and quite normal ideas

New content:

  • +9 new items
  • New sinergia between bows and arrows (because lets be real, you cant shoot without arrows, right?)
  • Added effects for melee weapons that appear rarely
  • Added bosses special attack

Improvements:

  • Changed and added some graphic effects (for example, the selected item is now easier to notice)
  • Changed some sprites of the items
  • Improved points of rotation for a lot of items
  • Changed menu font
  • The tutorial is now smaller, easier to understand
  • Added sound of ticking clock when you open chests (i hope it won't get annoying)
  • Added particles for rare items. Particles disappear after some time.
  • Improved UI
  • Added ability to use other keys. From now on the controls are: Left mouse button to select an item. To move the selected item, use the WASD keys or arrows. To rotate the selected item clockwise, press R or E or Space or Ctrl. Counterclock-wise: Q or Num0 or Num7
  • Fights were sped up a little (but you can always speed up animations even more using a button with an arrow on it on the up left side) (speedruns when?)
  • Added icon for the loading screen and game's window. Changed the game's icon (its an early version, don't bully me)

Balance:

  • The early game phase is now a little bit longer, and the mid game isn't so hard but got a little longer (tell me if you want an in depth explanation of how difficulty works)
  • Changed some item's bonuses for difficult shapes
  • Mimic buffed and now attacks first

Bug fixes:

  • Removed the delay after clicking campfire (hated it personally)
  • Removed the delay before destroying items and disabling the ability to move items
  • Removed ability to destroy chests without even opening them (but why would you do it anyway?). If you don't know, you can skip any chest's timer if you're done sorting items by clicking it (speedrun when? #2)

New bugs:

  • Accidently added bug that particles don't disappear after item being destroyed, sowwy about that ;-; (cringe + touch grass)
  • I don't know why, but sometimes effect "If your physical attack is higher than any other stat, this item gets +X to each stat" doesn't work properly and gets buff even when the condition isn't met

 Thanks again all of you for the support, without this the update wouldn't be possible. Feedback is criticall for the project to develop, else i will try to make something else, sadly making this concept dead again. Anyway, I'm planning to make a mobile version of the game so that my favorite players could chill in my game while driving somewhere or during a coffee break. I also would like to make a content update with a lot of new items, better graphic and unique effects, but the last one wasn't really playtested yet, so i need at least one person to tell me how the new effects in this version feel.
